Gründung des TamilJugendvereins Uri

Am 11. Dezember 2016 wurde der TamilJugendverein Uri offiziell gegründet. Die Gründungsmitglieder – Raguraj Ananthavettivelu als Präsident, abgestimmt durch Ramanan Ananthavettivelu, Ranusan Ananthavettivelu, Rajivkanthi Ananthavettivelu, Nerosan Theivendram und Wenujan Selvavinayagamoorthy – legten den Grundstein für eine starke Gemeinschaft. Seit 2017 begannen wir, Ideen und Veranstaltungen zu planen und umzusetzen. Im Jahr 2018 wurde das erste Mal das tamilische Kulturfest Thaipongal veranstaltet.

Wir hatten viele Ideen, konnten jedoch nicht alle realisieren. Wir führten viele Gespräche mit tamilischen Erwachsenen und Eltern, da ohne deren finanzielle Unterstützung die Durchführung solcher Projekte nicht möglich gewesen wäre. Sportliche Aktivitäten, wie Skitage und andere Winteraktivitäten, wurden ebenfalls geplant und erfolgreich umgesetzt.

Seit Ende 2023 wird der Verein von dem neuen Präsidenten Kirusanth Kirushanmoorty geführt. Der Verein hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die tamilische Kultur in Uri zu fördern und jungen Menschen eine Plattform für Bildung, Sport, Kultur und soziale Aktivitäten zu bieten. Zudem pflegt der TamilJugendverein Uri wichtige Traditionen wie das Thaipongal-Fest.

Ein weiterer Meilenstein war die Gründung eines Fußballteams unter dem Namen FC Uribulls. Unser Gründungsmitglied Ramanan Ananthavettivelu nahm Kontakt zu Dirosan Theivendram von Aluplus GmbH auf, um einen Sponsor für unsere Trikots zu gewinnen. Dank der Unterstützung von Aluplus GmbH konnten wir dieses Vorhaben realisieren. Am 15. September 2024 trugen wir erstmals die neuen Trikots, und Dirosan Theivendram war vor Ort, um die Trikots feierlich einzuweihen. Es war das erste Mal, dass der Verein offiziell in gesponserten Trikots von Aluplus GmbH, vertreten durch Dirosan Theivendram, auftrat. Der Sponsor unterstützt den Verein und dessen Arbeit mit Stolz.

Founding of the Tamil Youth Association Uri

On December 11, 2016, the Tamil Youth Association Uri was officially founded. The founding members – Raguraj Ananthavettivelu as President, along with Ramanan Ananthavettivelu, Ranusan Ananthavettivelu, Rajivkanthi Ananthavettivelu, Nerosan Theivendram, and Wenujan Selvavinayagamoorthy – laid the foundation for a strong community. In 2017, we began planning and implementing ideas and events. In 2018, the Tamil cultural festival Thaipongal was held for the first time.

We had many ideas, but we couldn’t realize all of them. We held numerous discussions with Tamil adults and parents, as financial support from them was essential to carry out these projects. Sports activities, such as skiing days and other winter events, were also planned and successfully executed.

Since the end of 2023, the association has been led by its new president, Kirusanth Kirushanmoorty. The association aims to promote Tamil culture in Uri and provide young people with a platform for education, sports, culture, and social activities. Additionally, the Tamil Youth Association Uri preserves important traditions such as the Thaipongal festival.

Another milestone was the formation of a football team under the name FC Uribulls. Our founding member, Ramanan Ananthavettivelu, reached out to Dirosan Theivendram from Aluplus GmbH to secure a sponsor for our jerseys. Thanks to the support of Aluplus GmbH, we were able to make this happen. On September 15, 2024, we wore the new jerseys for the first time, with Dirosan Theivendram present to inaugurate them. It was the first time the association officially appeared in sponsored jerseys from Aluplus GmbH, represented by Dirosan Theivendram. The sponsor proudly supports the association and its work.
